Arg!

Grrr, I so desperately wanna get this blog going! But you know how life is :(
So for now I'm just gonna give you a little taste of a shoot I did on Saturday. The shoot was actually of a girl from church getting ready for her Matric dance, but she happens to have the most beautiful family too! Here are a few happy shots of the adorable Demercia. Gotta love kids! :) :)

cutting hair

My friend cat is a hairdresser. She asked me if I'd like to come take some pics of her lovely little garden studio "Coniston hair design" on Friday, and that's what I did! It worked out so nicely, cause another friend of mine Bekka was gonna get her hair chopped off there that afternoon. Now this is quite something - for as long as I've known Becks, she's been the girl with the really really long beautiful hair.
Well, now she's the one with the really really short beautiful hair. I think Cat did a super job! :)  Here are some pics of the new hairstyle :)

Starting something new

We all have things that make us smile a whole lot on the inside. This blog will be all about that - the things that make my heart oh so happy.

As I like to busy myself with little projects, this will be a space where I will be sharing some of those with the world! I am a primary school art teacher as well as a wedding and portrait photographer, so a lot of the stuff you'll find on here will be on the creative side :) I'm excited! I think this will be fun.
